The Olive Egger is a hybrid produced by a rooster from a brown-egg breed and a hen from a blue-egg breed. Depending on what breeds its parents are, the egg can range from a pale green to a dark olive to a muddled brownish green. Like the Easter Egger, the Olive Egger can vary greatly in appearance in color and other characteristics. They may or may not have muffs, beards, or feathered legs. Their type of comb will vary and they may or may not be rump-less. As one might imagine, they are very popular among chicken owners who like a large variety of egg colors.
